About the Role:
AngioInsight, Inc. has an available position of Manager of Software Engineering–Medical Image Reconstruction in Minnetonka, MN. Position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering & 36 months experience as a software engineer &/or data scientist. Position also requires: Exp. must include: 1) 36 mos. exp. developing artificial intelligence (AI) software for angiography; 2) 36 mos. exp. developing & training deep learning algorithms applied to image segmentation of angiograms; & 3) 36 mos. exp. developing & training deep learning algorithms applied to 3D reconstruction of coronary vessels. Exp. reqs. may be met concurrently during the same time period. Job duties: Lead the development & enhancement of proprietary angiography AI software. Supervise & manage a team of data scientists & software engineers focused on advancing neural networks for angiographic image segmentation, coronary vessel centerline skeletonization, & 3D reconstruction of coronary vessels. Oversee the integration of algorithms for optimal image selection & velocity estimation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of AI-driven solutions in clinical workflows. Manage & mentor junior engineers, set development goals, & provide strategic direction for AI research & product development. Supervise 2-3 data scientists &/or software engineers.
